Boot without ram. and cpu?

Hey guys,

I became the owner of a nice looking X58 AsRock Extreme 6 motherboard today.

The motherboard looks clean almost new. Its a freebie because its broken.

I dont have a cpu or spare ram, but i would like to test and see if i get any sort of picture up on a screen with it.

Is it possible or do i need CPU and ram for this?

Even if just want to see if any sort of image will appear on screen? boot codes?

Might get a boot code at best.
But nothing should happen that will let you know if it will work.

It will do nothing without a CPU or RAM. You certainly will not get video output and if it has a debug screen on the board, the best you will get is "00", which means nothing.
