Isnt that a MOSFET?

I was about to mention that...correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't those critical to keeping voltage stable and clean?

Hi. I have a problem with my video card. I am not sure that that broken thing is a capacitor.
Here some pictures of that:

This is the picture of normal video card: http://www.team-cg.org/swp/normal.jpg

Is it possible to fix it?
Buy a new capacitor?

You've lost one of the three Vcore phase series inductors and that is a major problem. The
6800 uses a 3 phase Vcore power supply and yours now only has a two phase Vcore PS.

The card will probably do 2D just fine as the GPU current draw in low. Loaded up in 3D is
another matter. You will either artifact like crazy and/or the Vcore PS will shutdown on
phase overcurrent and/or take out the remaining Vcore PS phases from over heating due
to high current flow through the remaining two phases.

I have a parts card here I can pull a replacement from.
