....singleness.........its a love/hate relationship.........mostly love though.

I am lucky enough to have married a gamer girl who despite her best efforts to look stern and pissed off honestly can't wait to play with this. The funny thing is, my original build is absolutely on point with the $4500 budget, it's just the triple screen Sim setup that's killing me. I'm considering scrapping the sim for now, but then I have to buy a chair and a desk...

If you don't already have the desk and chair then just go with the sim setup in the first place.
Need that build trimmed back a bit? It can be done :)

I should trim it back, but I don't really want to :p

To be fair, I do have a desk I can use, it's actually a drafting table and pretty nice. I'd just need to get a clamp-style triple monitor arm for it.

:)

I use their stand type 3+1 mount for my monitors, they're top notch quality.
A couple of other users here using EasyMountLCD include thideras and Janus, they both speak highly of them as well.

Like that, but with 27" monitors.

This is what I've found so far: http://shop.ergotechgroup.com/triple-monitor-stand-w-telescoping-wings-clamp/

Edit: I found one on their site that should work much cheaper!

Ah crap, forgot to pull the link for the deluxe. I'm sure this is what you found, but here's a link:

Oh, they have an open box one for $40 also!

For reference, here's the one I use:

That's the one! I'm just waiting on the bank to clear my check and I can start buying parts! :D

Looking at chairs right now it's the last piece I think. Does anyone have/ has tried some of the DXracer chairs? I prefer high backed chairs and those look pretty nice, they're pricey though!

Haven't tried them.
Have you thought about a mesh backed chair to stay cooler while racing?

Well... The cash came through, managed to spend about $2500 before my bank decided to cancel my card... Now I get to deal with all of the fun that entails.

In other news, the triple display is pretty much out. I just can't justify spending that much. Right now I'm seriously considering the Philips Brilliance BDM4065UC 40" 4k monitor. I really don't want to mess with 27-32" 4k displays, I don't like that resolution in that size. Let me know if you have any other suggestions for the display, my budget is about $1200 for it.

Well, if you don't normally spend massive amounts of money on Newegg, how can your bank be sure it's you and not someone else? It's not hard to get it reactivated, just call the bank and tell them it was you.
