Can RGB headers be used for addressable RGB fans?

Is there such a thing as Addressable RGB headers or are all RGB headers Addressable? Say for example I connect an Addressable RGB fan to the RGB header on my Asus Maximus IX Hero would that work?

There are addressable RGB and just RGB headers. There is a difference.


You can confirm by finding the pinouts for the aRGB and RGB headers.


That said, I do not believe they will work as the pinouts are different. But again, see if you can find that online and confirm 100%.
