Cooler for my CPU

FX-8150 is a crazy hot running CPU. Nothing is overkill in the cooling department for that CPU.

It'll be fine for stock and maybe a small overclock but don't expect anything major.

First Of All i wont Oc it :p cuz its already 3.8Ghz and if i did i wud just do it till 4.2-4.3 or maybe just 4.1

But just check bro if any cpu cooler better i also want with led blue led

or normal is still fine

the hyper 212+ is a good choice, it keeps my phenom ii x4 955 at room temp idle and 40c under full load. I would assume the idle temps on a stock fx-8150 would be around 32c idle and 55c load, maybe more.

Overclocking to 4.2-4.4 with the Evo will be fine. If you were to push it higher than that I would recommend getting a better cooler (there are quite a few in the $80 plus range that work excellent). As you've stated that you don't plan on overclocking it much I would recommend taking it to around 4.1 to 4.2 which means you'll be able to keep the voltage at a very low level and keep the chip very cool with the Evo (and it's also an easy OC for the FX series).

Edit - Something else to keep in mind. I've seen different voltages reported for the CPU/NB from people using different MB's. When doing your OC settings I recommend setting it to 2200MHz @ 1.2V (CPU/NB is not to be confused with the NB).

I'm not sure what to do.I'm going for deepcool frostwin and i wont overclock only

Huh?

Edit - NM it's a cooler I've never heard of. Is there any reason you're going for that instead of the Evo?

From the results at HS I would at least get the 212 plus but that's just IMHO.

According to their tests at full load -

Deepcool Frostwin = 54C over ambient
Hyper 212 plus = 44C over ambient
Hyper 212 Evo = 36C over ambient

bburrill....he's got like 3 or 4 threads going asking the same questions so I just let one of the mods that was helping him in one of the other threads take over and guide him since he's been helping him the longest.
