DC or AC pump?

well.. It seems I lost somewhere.. I am looking for a DC pump of good range that can be installed in farms.. Coupled with pv panels.. can anyone suggest me some solutions?

in the olden days farms used windmills, mechanically couple to pumps....

I'm pretty sure (but could be wrong) that "big" pumps like 25HP do not exist in DC ... they exist plenty in AC

That might not be what you're looking for but its a start

Practical home or industrial application of solor requires some stuff... batteries, regulators, suppressor, converter/inverter... because frankly there isn't much at home or industrial that isn't AC. The majority of the world has left DC behind a long time ago
