Does my old Swiftech Apogee XT cooler block fit the new lga 1151?

You can see my build in my sig. I'm thinking of upgrading to a 8700K and a z370 MB
will my Swiftech cooler block fit this CPU?

According to the data sheet, it fits the lga1156 socket. Since all lga115x sockets use the same 75mm hole spacing, yes, it will theoretically work on lga1151.

Yup, just finished building the new system and it worked.
However, if you do this, be aware that you'll need a different back plate to secure the block to the MB. I was lucky, I still had the second one that originally came with the MB or the block.

Yeah, forgot about that. Mine came with 2 backplates. Think I used one for 1155 on 1151.
