Ending explorer.exe

In Win XP do you think that ending explorer.exe and leaving the taskmanager open to restart it would give SETIDriver any preformance boost?

This is on my computer at work so it is running 16 hours a day without me here.

It's so insignificant you would be hard pressed to even notice a difference.
