I ran into an issue while I installed Python 2.7 (not 3) on Windows 10 and I can't find a solution.

Python 3 works find but Python 2.7 give ownership Error during installation.
I am then am the Admin so it can't be the problem.

Hope I can find some help here.

Have you tried compatibility mode to see if that helps?

I did. and it installed correctly.
But I also added additional folder ie Disk C>Python>Python27
It seem to be working correctly.
Dunno if it was a Compatibility error or a problem with Win10 UAC.
Either way thank you for your suggestion. :)

EDIT:
So I uninstalled the snake and tried only in Compatibility mode and it did not worked.
The solution is to install Python in additional folder.. Gods knows why..

UPDATE:
Once again it won't let me install the software.
Error - Can't write to Disk C, Check ownership.
I am the Admin and it is a Legal copy of Windows 10.
So I am clueless.

Did you try compatibility for maybe Vista or XP? It looks like 2.7 was deprecated in 2010, not long after Windows 7 was released.

Here is a video of the problem.
Nothing I do helps.
I am the Admin and I can't find any solution on the internet.

Being admin is different from running as admin. Try right click run as admin on the installer.

Nevermind saw the video. Why not set to install for all users? It specifically mentions install as just me isn't available in Vista, which I assume means it doesn't work past that either?

Does that help?

For what it's worth, I work at a college and in our computer science labs we have 2.7.x installed in a few places without any issue.

I have done exactly the same as in the video.
I can't install the damn thing in the first place.
