hey, coolest, don't forget to mention me...... official tester of Da coolest products w00t. i believe i already sent some results in , nice job

Cool program.

Here are the specs on my Manchester, just happened to be 16 hours into a Prime95 test.

Wish I had one of those Toledos. They seem to have the higher Tcase rating, probably why they tend to OC better. I wonder what the Tcase is the DC Opterons?

deathman20:
It means that your CPU has a TDP of 35W and at stock a max temp of 49C at the junction between CPU core and IHS, but when overclocked, all odds are off and stock specifications are thrown out the window :)

There's a bunch of DC Opterons showing up lately that have 49C/35W rating... From what i can tell its a new batch of chips.
What's interesting to note, tho, is that AMD is preping AMD Turion 64 Dual Core, that's supposed to have a 35W rating...

Romulox:
You missed an important part of in the screenshot, the TDP...

Lets see if this works with a Paste:

BioVader I'm intrigued, what is the vcore you used to get to this speed? And was this chip hotter than other CPUs you had before?

Sorry about the delay, I forgot to subscribe to the thread. I run a straight 1.52v for all my overclocking up to 2.85. I think I put a little more into it at 2.95 but I can't get it stable and have not really tried messing with it that much.

From the start I noticed that the temps were alot higher then my previous 3500+NC and 3200+ Winchester. Then again I'm sure all dual cores run about the same... Now that I'm on water the temps are great. Right now I'm working on vmod for my vid card and will be setting up some extra cooling for the PWMIC area. I was dual priming one day and alarms started going off. i was like wtf and looked and the PWMIC's were at 72C. So cooling is needed..

Here is a link with information on my CPU and tests.

Also is a higher or lower TDP good?
