Thanks guys . I appreciate the info. Glad I came to the boards.

for like three weeks I've been trying to finalize a build, (I get paid bi-weekly anyways so I had some time on my hands) and it's been driving me nuts. Honestly I didn't want to go AMD, I'd rather get a i5 2500k, but price vs performance I'm hoping the fx-4100 will make me a happy camper.

Are you going to use the cooler that comes boxed with the CPU or going for something better?

For now just the stock cooler. I imagine I won't need to over clock it severely or possibly at all so that shouldn't be an issue. At some point I'll buy an aftermarket cooler I'm sure but off the bat I'm trying to minimize my expenses
