Used the same cheap keyboard/mouse combo for years-no lights. LOL Logitech K320. I have some old mobos that have been "tested" with some really bad PSUs and those beeps have saved me a lot of trouble (and boards). If a board is dead I strip the caps and toss it, but I don't want to toss it if the PSU is at fault. And it's like a little buddy I'm always glad to see (hear). I don't mind it at home because I live alone and my girlfriend doesn't hear squat, anyway. If she can tune me out, a little beep or two won't matter.
