GTX470 and GTX480 Clocks ?

Or maybe its three different versions? a 470 with slower clocks with either 1280 or 1536MB, and a 480 with 1536MB...

i looked around i couldnt find any wiht pcie, not to mention that your gpu would be more powerfull then your cpu on that type of board

Well, that's probably why you'd stick a gtx400 on there. Use the slow cpu to feed the fast graphics card WUs in F@H/S@H.

Hell, very few cpus out there can challenge a modern GPU in raw floating point power.
Actually i'm not sure any of them can, really.

GeForce GTX 470 : 448 SP, 607/1215/1674MHz core/shader/mem, 320-bit, 1280MB, 225W TDP, US$349

Internal benchmarks reveal that GeForce GTX 470 is some 5-10% faster than Radeon HD 5850 and similiar for GeForce GTX 480 over the Radeon HD 5870. Interestingly, the TDP of GeForce GTX 480 is almost similar to Radeon HD 5970 which is a dual GPU card. Interestingly, our sources revealed that there are indeed plans for dual Fermi cards and the TDP of the card is probably gonna be mind blowing.

thats most likely the MSRP price.. you know newegg and other sights are going to jack up the price... the MSRP for a 5870 is 380$ the lowest i can fine on newegg is 404$

i want one.. but i will have to see how much they are going for... my 9800GTX+ is showing its age
