I was off work today so I went ahead and started building a drive bay reservoir.
I had the option of using the thin pretty glue or the thick ugly glue and I chose the thick one because it allows me more room for error. As a result its a little ugly but its watertight!
Its made of 3mm acrylic sheet and the rear panel is 9mm acrylic. The rear is thicker so I can tap it to accept the barbs.
I have yet to install the front and a divider.
It fits snugly in a plastic frame that used to be a floppy drive adaptor for cd drive bays.
I tried finding good fittings in a hardware store but all the 3/8th barbs had very large threaded areas for use in pipes. I need to find adequate fittings.
