hello i am looking for advice and help with overclocking my ram with the intel Z77, i can overclock the cpu easliy but when i overclock the memory past 1680 it gets really difficult and i cant get the pc to boot heres my specs:
cpu-intel i5 3570k
mobo- intel DZ77GA70K
ram-Kingston HyperX 8GB (4 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2400 Desktop Memory Model KHX2400C11D3K4/8GX
hard drive- two wd rapters
gpu- gtx 480

With the BCLK set to 100, manually adjust the DRAM timings to 11-13-11-30 (tCL, tRCD, tRP, and tRAS) w/ the DRAM voltage set to 1.65V at DDR3-2400.

question what about system agent voltage, would you happen to know what that is?, also, would i be able to oc the cpu? i have it at 4.6 ghz right now, and the mem is at 1680 mhz 9-9-9-24

I tried the settings and it wouldnt work this is what i had,

Memory multiplier speed-18
command rate -2T
2400 mhz
tCL-11
tRCD-13
tRP-11
tRAS min- 30
tRFC 117
tRRD-8
tWTR-8
tRTP-8
tWR-16
tRC-51
tFAW-38
that wouldnt boot up, i tried messing around a bit also and still wouldnt boot up any suggestions????

alright i got xmp-2133 profile to boot up, I guess when u choose those profiles you cant make any other adjustments to timings and what not?i tried to tighted them up from 11-12-11-30 but it wouldnt show up on my ecga tuning utility so yea, but xmp-2400 just wouldnt work, later on i will try to update the bios, i dnt wanna just jump right into that, i hear you have to update that one update at a time r sumthing,, and its just not worth it if u dnt need it..
