So I've been trying to overclock my new fx6300 to 4.5ghz on said motherboard. The highest I can get a stable overclock is 3.9ghz before the voltage needs to be increased. Trouble is when I set my voltage to manual in the bios and change the voltage, my voltage stays the same even though my addition shows that I added some. I can't get my vcore to go up or down. My board is a rev.1 w/the f13 bios.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

On the Gigabyte boards you need to use the "+ and -" keys to add or subtract voltage are you doing this?

I'm using cpuz, and amd overdrive. I have not tried the +/- keys, just the up down arrows. I'll give that a shot. Thanks.

Well using the +/- keys have worked, who would have thought it would be that simple. Thanks fellas.
