i have a 6w zalman rheostat fan controller and i would like to purchase a 80cfm Delta and hook it up to it. will this work or is the 80cfm delta too many watts?

it works fine now on the delta 38 60mm.

i read on these forums that it is better to get a bigass 80mm fan and use a rheostat than it is to get a normal speed (like 40cfm or 50cfm) fan and not because the vains on the fan helps move the air better. is this true?

i would like to put this on a ax7 or slk800 if i can get some cash quickly.

well i do believe the wattage draw would be the voltage * amperage, so 12 * amperage (i think its usually marked on the fan somewhere...)

can anyone tell me what it is for the delta 80 if you have it? the vantec tornado is wayyyyy too loud for an additional 4cfm (4dba louder!)
