Nice! I have a Megahalems rev b en route to my house now that will have 2 Ultra Kaze 2000s strapped onto it. How does yours perform? Which Ultra Kazes do you have? The 2000s are pretty quiet at max speed and are still rated to move about 90CFM.

I've been bothering you guys (and the guys in the case modding section) for a while so I thought I'd post some "after" pictures. I bought three Scythe Jyuni 1900rpm fans and two Scythe Ultra Kaze 38mm 3000rpm fans, plus a few other mods.

Now I have the 3000rpm + 1900rpm fans on a 5 fan controller and the two old Frio 2500rpm fans are intake in the roof which can still be adjusted using the little switches inside the case.

With everything on full blast it's a pretty impressive harmony, but I've just been upping voltage and running some very nice overclocks. Best so far is 215x21 = 4.515 GHz, prime 95 stable. Onwards and upwards (I think I've reached 220 with an extra bump to vtt)

I'm converted to these 38mm fans. So much air.

I've got my Prolimatech Megahalems with 2 Ultra Kaze 2000s on my i2500k now and I have to say this heatsink is a beast. No core goes over 62C during Prime95 and they usually stay in the high 50s. That's at 4.5GHz. The Ultra Kazes aren't even really audible at 12v, so I just leave them there while the machine is on. I think my YL mediums are louder at 12v.

As an aside, the Megahalems mounting system is the absolute best I've ever used. I am thoroughly impressed with it.

Edit: I'll be seeing how high this chip can go with this improved heatsink (I used to have the Xigmatek Gaia that was in the mid-high 70s under Prime95).

Big "fan" of your dual frio 38mm setup, + filter!! :attn: where did you get the filter?

My new fan setup, for about the last week. Still gotta build the case and filter chambers though.

Wiring is a little bit of mess in this picture, Its since been cleaned up.

Using a custom Bobnova™ dual pwm fan controller.

Just got a pair of Scythe Kaze Ultras for my lil system. :D Between them and my H80 (at max), it sounds like an aircraft.

My wife still complains when I crank up the Panaflo ultra highs I have on my radiator. Kinda makes me miss the Delta AFB's that I used to have on it. They were about as loud at 7V as the Panaflo's are at full speed.

yes thats all i use apart from 1 fan. gotta say these things are amazing. and yes these fans will destroy any scythe gentle poofoon.

I recommend against talking trash on the overclockers forums for two reasons:

1) It's not very nice, and not especially well tolerated.
2) Someone else will always have something harder core. 6000rpm >250cfm JouJye fans, for example. I do not, however, have the hardest core fans around here. That'd be muddoktor.

That said, I rather like that setup you have there!
