wowza! nice sub 7 run!! even if you're not happy...that's a great score man.

Really unhappy with that bench tonight.
I wanted..

Under 7mins
NB higher than 5000Mhz
5.3Ghz cpu speed.

And I could only do one of the 3 :-/

Wow dude! I hit the nail on the head with my prediction. You are exactly 300 mhz higher with bench stability on Dry Ice when compared to me. The same thing happened to me, dissapointing "shake your head" results. lol I already sold my 975.

I'm going to try and get some LN2 (if I can get it for an ok price) if another -20/-30 gave me the same gain again (really BIG ask) all would be good in the world for me, but I don't think it's going to happen.

Dean,
I truly feel the LN2 should put you in the 5.3/5.4 bench/3d stable area.

I hope this makes you feel better Dean, my uncore really sucks.....ran out of LN2 pretty quick today but was starting to get the hang of this cpu some more this morning, figures as I will not be able to bench Ln2 again until at least two weeks :(

That was on LN2, but it might as well have been DI. Anything below -75Cish really didn't seem to help. It would boot to the desktop @ -105C no problem, but -110C or colder would start causing errors SPi.

This is the one that REALLLLLLYYYYY ticked me off. Same speed as above, tweaked (as always, no CW). Finished the whole bench and CPU-Z locked it up :bang head :bang head I called it quits right after that one (LOL) and was never able to get back to take another stab at it.
