I really want to wait for the next gen of Nvidia cards before upgrading to a Core I7 platform but things are looking good so far. :santa:

go online to ebay get your 25% cash back via windos live, i7-920 as low as $220 when you get your cash back.

I'm really thinking about it now. If I don't have to buy new memory, it would almost be worth it. I can sell off 2 MB and CPUs and it should pay for the new processor and MB

yeah, but with paypal, you should be ok. Worst case, you dispute with them and if they don't do anything, then dispute with you CC company. That's why I always pay cc through paypal. 2 avenues should things go wrong.

wait... just past 2 weeks i've been trying to buy Asus motherboards and some E8400 or E8500 cpu's and i could not find no live 25% cash back on any of the listings that i clicked on. did microsoft put it back on or something?

Will prices for the Core 2, dual and quad alike, come down now? I want to give Intel a try..

nope the prices of the core 2 duos and quad cores have not came down yet. i'm just waiting for them to drop, and if they take too long... arggg i might just have to settle with a used core 2 duo E8400 since i'm very impatient :(

hehe as soon as i get paid, i'm gona buy one :D i7 is too expensive and i still have not figured our how to do the live 25% off rebate thingy :( i'm gona look in the forum and see if there is a post on how to work the live thing.

ya they dont always have the best prices, but they beat newegg on the 920 retail :D

i want Q2D to drop so i can get a q9 series and move my 6600 to my HTPC!
