Just put a new 2600+ cpu into the board? and for some reason it doesn't recognize it. Thinks it's an 1800+. I used the bios options to run it up to 2100+ but that's the most the bios allows. Any ideas on what I should do? The board is supposed to accept up to 2600+ - that's what it says in the manual.

I'll answer myself

RTFM of course - as usual
the board only supports 266 MHz FSB and my CPU is 333 MHz FSB. Too bad... - it won't work :(
