I have my eye on an Asus M4A77D motherboard. I searched the forums and I can't find any threads that reference this board. My question is, does anyone have any experience with this board, and specifficaly could you offer your opinion on the BIOS and its overclocking settings? Thanks.

Havent dealt with that specific board, but used the ASUS M4A78T-E AM3. Bios settings are great for overclocking. But my board had bad cooling on the NB, so it wasnt that great at overclocking.

ASUS is very good about posting manuals on the web. If I'm thinking about buying a board I download the manual and have a look. It's a good way to get an idea of what the board has to offer physically as well as in BIOS ...

That Board is good for Overclocking it depend on what Processor you have if you have a Phenom 955 you will need lot of cooling but it can Overclock and unlock very well most people don't buy this Board cause it dont have on Board Graphics but i think that a plus for Overclocking.....i clock all the way up to 3.9Ghz and stop and drop it to 3.8ghz MA477D..and the MA477TD the only diff here is DDR3 for the TD..... http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1043444

Thanks for the information...I have no interest in onboard graphics as you mentioned, but I do want to overclock so I appreciate the input from someone who owns this board.

I will also try and find the manual online.
