Maxcoin GPU mining

I'm giving GPU mining a try on this. So far I'm getting about 1 coin per 10 minutes.

Took a bit of work to configure.

Current BTC exchange seems to be .004 BTC per MAX.

Edit: with 2 7970s on it, I'm getting about 600Mh/s.

Configuration tip for 7970s. Only one 1 thread, not 2. gives you about 40-50 more Mh/s per card.

I'm using max1gh.com, and I'm windows mining with cgminer 3.6.6.

Wallet sucks (can't use proper descriptor, don't want to be banned)!

Half an hour, and I've gotten 3 MAX.

However, nothing is mature yet.

Edit: Cards are running 60°C and 65°C. Cooler than running cgminer 3.7.2 for middlecoin.

That should give you about .007 BTC/hr based on what I'm getting with 600Mh/s. That is with MAX going for about .005 BTC. Looks like it is climbing a bit.

My coins have started to mature, so I should be able to start exchanging them soon.

I couldn't get the wallet to sync, but who cares? Dumping when rates are good at mcxnow.

ypool and 1gh have too many people onboard, so for the sake of avoiding 51% attacks/forks, hop on board. Payouts are really good, currently have 3180000kh/s pointed at it.

This seems to be similar to mining btc. Memory doesn't matter much. You should be able to downclock memory for stability and power savings. Raise the core to increase hashrate, but keep it stable or it stops mining.
