hey there, i want to upgrade my setup, actually i have :
core 2 quad Q8400,
azrock g31-m
4gb ddr2 400
gtx 550ti

i am aware this is not an excelent rig, but i want to update the motherboard, for more overclock options and stability,and for the ram, i want 4 dimm slots..
i would really apreciate your opinion,

If you're going to pay that much for an upgrade, buy some newer technology. Core 2 equipment is now 5 generations old.

Either get a cheaper motherboard to overclock (P45 based), or save and get a new system. Agreed.

The thing isla that were i live i cant afford a new mobo. Either one of this motherboards aré 60 -90 dolars .they aré from a friend so i know The condition is mint...if you had no other choice ....which would you pic ??thanks a lot
