Wuuuzzup guys,
I hope someone can help me figure this out

I can't seem to find me answers in sticky's

#1 I have asus P5ND2 SLI Deluxe mb
#2 Crucial Balistix 5300 1024 x 2
slot A1 & B1

Crucial specs are 2.1v and 3-3-3-12
my asus auto sets 1.85v @ 5.0-3-3-15

Then here is a timings table

cpu-z-02.jpg

I don't understand the frequency at 166.7
and i don't understand FSBDRAM 6:5

I'm a total noob to all this guys so please bare with me

first time I set overclocking to manual
set dram v to 2.1 and timings to 3-3-3-12

it booted fine and i gained on benckmarks

but nothing in any overclocking modes would work after that - only crash my box

Can anyone explain to me how i'm suppose to set these
or why my mb don't set to crucial specs

You need to set your timings manually in the BIOS, everything is probably on auto so the mb does what it wants. The RAM is underclocked because you have a divider running.

RDWest2005 sorry I cant help with your question, I know nothing about DDR2 or how it works.

Thx Eldonko i tryed the Manula { Set it to 3-3-3-12 and no joy aslo set it to auto ect... Just wont budge. Here is my settings.

Finally Figured it out

Took me a while but i finally found out why my memory is running at 4-3-3-12 instead of 3-3-3-12.

There is nothing wrong with my results, I'm are running the memory now at higher than it's rated speed and at lower timings. My memorys spd is set for 5-3-3-15 timings at 333mhz and I'm are running it at 4-3-3-12 at 358.7mhz. DDR2 memory likes high mhz much better than it likes low timings.

i don't understand where the freq comes in - where its set or running from

when i maually set it to 2.1v and 3-3-3-12 - all overclocking crashes

so something has to over clocking mem more than it can handle or something
