My summer ambient temps have been exceeding 85 degrees F lately
and my Arctic Cooling Accelero Xtreme PLUS II can't take it. As soon as my
GPU temps exceed 62 degrees celsius it's an instant CTD. Maybe I'll have
to go w/watercooling for my next vid-card, or a room air conditioning unit. :p

Imagine what would happen if you lived somewhere that got hot...scary. Yes a watercooling setup would help alleviate that problem.

Not too sure about the AMDs, but some Nvidia cards let you force full fan speed.

Before investing in a watercooling setup, try some better fans. If the cooler is one that blows out the back, pressurizing the case will help performance.

THe joke's on me. It wasn't the video card overheating at all. It was my overclocked i7-3820 (@4858 Mhz). The weird thing is, the CPU wasn't overheating, so I'm still not sure what the problem was exactly, but when I bumped down the overclock on the CPU the
game lock-ups disappeared.
