Motherboard making buzzing sound under load

When my CPU is under load, my motherboard makes a high pitched buzz. not a whine. It's a buzz. and it's not as high pitched as coil whine, its much lower pitch than that.

It just started happening. I'm on a Maximus IV Extreme (P67) and my CPU is @ 1.44 volts under load. Running for 2 years and a bit.

It could be the power supply too I suppose... The buzzing sound happens while gaming or just running P95 so I've ruled out the GPU.

Was gonna suggest investigating fans for degenerating bearings. Glad you found the problem.
