Hi,

I have one new Asus Prime X370-PRO Socket AM4 motherboard and ADATA XPG DDR4 2666 2x4GB RAM.

THe problem I am facing is that the Motherboard will not boot with the RAM. I tried some other RAM on the motherboard and it works fine. I also tried the ADATA RAM on another motherboard and it worked fine as well. Just the 2 will not work together although the motherboard specs say that it is compatible with 2666 MHz RAM.

Does anyone have any ideas about if I am doing something wrong?

Please help. Thanks!

The following ADATA DDR4-2666 part numbers are listed on the QVL for your motherboard:

ADATA AX4U266638G16-DRZ 16GB ( 2x 8GB )
ADATA AX4U2666W8G16-QRZ 32GB ( 4x 8GB )

Anything not listed was not tested and may or may not work.

Thanks, I have used my friend's RAM to boot it and updated the BIOS to the latest. It started working after that. Problem solved.
