I am installing programs into a new Toshiba Notebook. It has Win 7 Home 64 bits.

For MS Office would there be any difference whether a 32 or 64 bits version is installed?

The only large files I shall be using are power point presentation. Some of the files may be 200 – 300 Mbytes in size. Word and Excel files are usually small.

Thanks.

There is almost no reason to go 64bit Office. Microsoft doesn't even recommend it for compatibility reasons. You aren't going to see any benefits when the bulk of your work is from Powerpoint presentations of all things. ;)
