my 7600gt oc

ok heres the low down

Forsa 7600gt 560/1400 @ 652/1600. Now i cant seem to push the memory any higher? i seen on some review they have been able to get thier memory to 1690mhz. Can anybody recommend something or is my OC good as it is?

i only get 6669 on 3dmark05. Which i feel isnt justified i mean i put the core almost 100mhz higher and the ram 200mhz higher and i only get a 649 point difference?

Rest of my system is (939)amd 3000+ 1.8ghz @ 2.5ghz
1 gig of OCZ Premium ram @ 357mhz 2-3-3-7
on a DFI RS482

lol my pc is basically a budget pc.

BTW i could get 650/1600mhz @ stock cooling. Now i put a Zalman FS-V7 on it, it still doesnt go any higher than it did at stock. The temperature dropped by 12 degrees but thats it.

Well if you do the vddr volt mod you can go alot higher. some people that did the volt mod are actully hitting 1800Mhz on the memory

Sweet OC. But it seems that the 7600GT is bottlenecked by the memory. Can you try throttling back the GPU and increase the memory?

It's a very decent overclock. I agree that voltmodding will get you better. Can always try that.

Well, I can OC the memory to 850 but the core needs to stay around 550

same here. I did the pencil mod with no increase in speeds. nice card, but I need it to overclock more.

pencil mod so i can get 1800mhz eh?? plz link me so i can oc my memory
but if i oc the memory to 1800mhz do i have to throtle down the core? coz i hit 652 and i wanna stay there lolz i wanna beat a sock 7800gt with my 7600gt on 3dmark 05!! or am i already beating a stock 7800gt?

btw Jaws i am using coolbits..... its wat my friend -_{MoW}_- Assasin uses.
