Tried to get the RAM to run faster and i get freezing and BSOD @ 1.65v even with everything at stock under IntelBurn test. for what ever reason it did not like that at all.

What is your ram's rated speed? Also, what is the revision number on the side of the modules?

CMX4GX3M2A1600C9

1600Mhz 4GB (2x2GB) 9-9-9-24 1.65V Ver 2.12

I also looked in the Motherboard vendors list, those moduals are listed there under 1600Mhz and listed as 1.65v, so they have been tested @ 1600Mhz @ 1.65v on my MOBO.

They should work at that, having said that my Motherboard is an AM3+ socket.

I have exactly the same modules on my PhII rig, and I can run them at either 1600/8-8-8-24/1.695v or 1333/7-7-7-18/1.635v

yeah i accept that :) there might be something else going on here.

In any case i will be upgrading to 8GB at some point and i will just make sure i get modules that run @ 1600 - 1.5v.

Whatever it is something does not like the higher volts for some reason.
