What is believed to be the first harbor Christopher Columbus landed in during his maiden voyage to the Americas. Columbus Harbor, San Salvador(Our Savior)

Went for a stroll today to see if I could get the Tokina SD-II 70-210 to pop like my Nikkor lenses do using in camera processing. Fortunately, all it took was a mild bump in saturation in vivid mode.

This is the top of one of our grain elevators. This is at the 210mm end where this lens is at its softest. f11, ISO 400.

Great Barricuda @ Witches Cauldron San Salvadore.

This particular one was about 3ft long. The Dive Masters warn you before you enter the water to remove all jewelry, earings, watches, anything shiney. They see it as a fish or lure and attack. As it turns out they are attracted to a flash strobe too. Fortunately only as a curiosity.

Thread is looking great guys, excellent photos by all; keep them coming!

Last weekend my camera didn't see the outside of the bag; we were just too busy. We'll see what the next one brings. :)

EDIT - I do have one photo leftover from last weekend though.

Spring is finally here! I didn't even know these flowers existed when I moved into my house last July. It was a nice surprise when they started blooming this week :)
