One of the biggest disappointments for me was the resolution. The bigger resolution will make a big difference.

Same here, I bought the eeePC for travel and it's great for airport lobbys and on the plane. But for being away from my computer room( with the wife, trying to be a real husband)I just bought this laptop. Not in the same league for quality, but has more screen real estate.
