Question About CAS Latency

Hi thar. I'm shopping for 16GB @ 1600MHz (2 module kits) on newegg and I'm trying to keep my wallet in mind. How big of a difference does CAS latency make in terms of speed and performance? I can get CAS 9 for a little more money than CAS 10, but how big of a difference will it make? Noticeable? Is it better for overclocking? Waat do guize?

One of these G.Skill kits is timed at 7-8-8-24. What up wit dat?

Not noticeable, really for daily driving... benchmarking though, different story.
