My previous thread I talked about a problem booting the OS on my new PC, I discovered the problem was infact the Win7 disk its self. So i copied files onto a flash drive and the OS loaded successfully.

But now I think i may need to reset the CMOS, I have heard that pulling the CMOS battery out will reset it but how long do i need to leave it out? i read somewhere that 2 hours is average? is this correct?

Pull the ATX power from Mobo remove battery for 20min and jumper the CMOS reset pins and thats the CMOS reset put battery back re attach ATX power and boot up
