*BUMP*

Have updated my 965 on the stock cooler to 4 GHz @ 1.37v, currently running prime right now at 63c load, 66c peak. CPU-NB is at stock right now, with 1.05v which is the minimum working voltage to keep down heat :)

This is the 6.9 GHz 965 I have, which is 10th fastest worldwide :D It is really balanced too.

This is my rig

This is my current overclock. System details in Sig. These snipes taken after 6 hour run of P95.

My 24/7 clock is,- CPU: 4.1Ghz, CPU-NB 2880Mhz, Memory: 1480Mhz

That's: 221Mhz x18.5, vCore 1.42v or 1.44v with LLC.

I have not Prime-95 Tested it for 8 hours or any of that, but i have been running it at this speed and more for a while and it has never complained.

But to give you an idea of temps i have run Prime-95 for 25 minutes.

picture.php

Ambient room temp: 24c, CPU: 63c, Cores: 50c,
I could get it to run cooler by turning my case fans up, but you know how it is, silence is golden. :)

My CPU history is: Intel Pentium II, Intel Pentium III, Intel Pentuim 4 HT Skt 478, AMD Athlon XP 3200+, AMD Athlon x2 5200+, Intel Core Duo Quad Q9300, AMD Phenom II x6 1090T.

The Thuban is by far my favorite CPU, but it's getting on a bit now and i know it will be an agonising time when it comes to replace it, all the others is was easy to do, some more than others, but not this one, i'm already sweating over it.

My setup varies.

Mine's old school though.

Socket 939 benching/backup system:
Athlon 64 X2 Manchester-(stock 2.2GHz) 2.6GHz 24/7 overclock (when I keep it overclocked) (1.35V stock) @1.4V (2.8GHz max OC for benching (1.6V+))
DFI LanParty nF4 SLI-DR Expert
Ram varies, Corsair PC3200 (Winbond CH-5) Corsair PC3200 (Winbond UTT), Corsair XL (TCCD), Corsair XL Pro (TCCD), Patriot XBLK (TCCD), Corsair PC3500 (Winbond BH-5), Mushkin (Winbond BH-5 and UTT), Crucial Ballistix (Micron -5BD), etc.
Hitachi 80GB drive
PSU: Corsair TX750, HX520, or VX550
GPU: nVidia 9800GT, GTS250, GTX260

Also Athlon 64 3200 Venice (2GHz stock, 2.8GHz comfortable daily OC, 3.1GHz max OC), 3700 San Diego (2.2GHz stock, never overclocked), 3800 Venice (2.4GHz stock, 2.7GHz comfortable daily OC, 3GHz max), 4000 San Diego (2.4GHz stock, 2.7GHz comfortable daily OC, 3GHz max) or ClawHammer (2.4GHz stock, 2.6GHz comfortable daily OC, 2.8GHz max), or Athlon 64 X2 4200+ Toledo (2.2GHz stock, 2.6GHz comfortable daily OC @1.4V, not yet tested for max frequency).

I'll add my 2c:

Fx-8120 @ 3.9ghz 223 x 17.5, Thermolab bada 2010 cooler (works surprisingly well for a small tower cooler)
M5a78l-m/usb3 in a Coolermaster 343 matx case
8gb 1333 @ 1487
AMD HD7750 @ 1030mhz core, 1465mhz ram and 1.2v

I'll upload some temps and pics shortly, normally only gets to 45c core temps but i know thats a lie

This was taken a minute ago...

It's running on a H100 on p/p with kinda crappy fans. Haven't been testing it for a while, I run this for 24/7.

EDIT - System specs :

CPU : FX8120 @ 4.5Ghz 250Mhz x 18.0.
Mobo : M5A88-V EVO
Ram : Samsung green DDR3 2x4GB cl9-10-10-21 1T @ 1.65v
Cooling : H100 on p/p with Fractal design 120mm fans.
GPU : EVGA GTX 580 Reference (1536MB version)
PSU : Termaltake Purepower 700w.
Case : NZXT Phantom. (White)

I know, I know. This changed in the last oc. Before that, the vcore values shown were pretty normal, but I couldn't run p95 without half the workers (4) crashing. Now this doesn't happen.

Still, since I checked that the vcore was pretty high I actually downed it a bit yesterday and could still prime with no casualties.

I've had no issues at all so far and temps were showing normal underload (around 55-60°C on HWMonitor)

EDIT : Oh, and before anyone asks, the GPU is certainly underclocked. I feel ashamed since it was validated that way. The reason it shows underclocked it's because I forgot I had EVGA Precision X turned on, and the oc profile for gaming is a slight underclock to avoid very high temps (it heatens up A LOT and quite fast)

I've just picked up my 1045T today....so far, 1045T with a Hyper 212 running 3.5Ghz @ 1.4v with DDR3-1740 9-9-9-24 1T.

Will be used for everything my FX-6100 was used for...it'll just do the work faster and with much less energy :D

update: 4013 @1.38 (1.392 load) this was after 4 hrs( i meant to do 2 but fell asleep so 4 hours will do:)...) stock cooler

I haven't pushed it any further... I want to, but it's been fine the way it is for months now. :) It's been great for gaming. :D

Current ambient temp is around 18-19C, a little cooler than I'd like it but the hottest I've seen this OC get is 37C in HWmonitor in the dog days of summer.

That's a far cry from the 50-55C it was running at stock speeds while undervolted on that silly little block called the stock cooler. Makes me want to throw it in the garbage... currently sitting on an Athlon X2 though.
