Just wanted to update mine some from earlier. If you can count it as that. I got my vcore lowered from 1.43 to 1.4 and altered cpunb to 2600 and ht to 2400. Could not hit 4.7 though no matter what vcore. All stable with core temps about 45c
My 24/7 clock is,- CPU: 4.1Ghz, CPU-NB 2880Mhz, Memory: 1480Mhz
That's: 221Mhz x18.5, vCore 1.42v or 1.44v with LLC.
I have not Prime-95 Tested it for 8 hours or any of that, but i have been running it at this speed and more for a while and it has never complained.
But to give you an idea of temps i have run Prime-95 for 25 minutes.
Ambient room temp: 24c, CPU: 63c, Cores: 50c,
I could get it to run cooler by turning my case fans up, but you know how it is, silence is golden.
My CPU history is: Intel Pentium II, Intel Pentium III, Intel Pentuim 4 HT Skt 478, AMD Athlon XP 3200+, AMD Athlon x2 5200+, Intel Core Duo Quad Q9300, AMD Phenom II x6 1090T.
The Thuban is by far my favorite CPU, but it's getting on a bit now and i know it will be an agonising time when it comes to replace it, all the others is was easy to do, some more than others, but not this one, i'm already sweating over it.
Your Prime worker failed man, its not stable at that OC.
Looks stable to me, he stopped the test with 0 errors and 0 warnings on all cores.
So I have had my 8320 for about two weeks now and I am loving it sofar. I had the system up and folding @ 4.62Ghz all day with the GPU folding @ 850Mhz.
Pump manually set at 80% and fans on auto speed.
