The RAM is faster than the motherboard supports. Afaik, it'll just run at the slower speed. Not quite sure though.

I doubt you'll need 8 gigs of RAM if you're just gaming (I use 3, at most, and I program while I play). Perhaps 4?

Processor should work with the motherboard.

I was suggesting 4 gigs because, for gaming, you rarely use more than that. I use 3 gigs with Eclipse and my games open. Your call, though.

if your gaming BF3, i think ultra settings requires a 8gib ram recommended.. i have a 4gb and i stutter at ultra, i have to set it to high to stop the stuttering.. that is because im running some program in the background. no harm in buying the 8gb as the ram nowadays are very cheap, its a very good investment for your PC..
