Hey there! I apologize if this is a bit of a newbie question. I have some experience with basic overclocking but have not run into this before.

So to cut to the point, I overclocked my 8700k to 5.0ghz and my voltage readings are throwing me way off.
I followed the main 8700k overclocking video that I could find on YT (dino's video) and had no problems. First try I booted up with no problem at 5.0ghz at 1.32v

However when I opened CPU-Z it says my core voltage is 1.776 V ?! Isn't that insanely high?

So I decided to check HWInfo and it said under my board that my VCore is 1.32 V? I've included some photos below if you want to look.

My Idle temps are around 30-35c so no alarm there.

I double checked my BIOS and I'm set at 1.32V and my temps are right where I want them to be.. so I'm very confused? Are these readings accurate? Is my cpu about to burn up?

Thanks for any help!

CPUz is seemingly reading the voltage wrong I'd imagine. Coretemp may display the right voltage...
