Upgrading

as you all know my Wife passed away a little over 1yr ago

my Question is my PC is old now like myself, i have the 6700k
my Late wife has a Ryzen 7 1700

i was thinking of swapping them but from what i see its not worth it

can anyone give me some real input

is it worth to swap the hardware or keep what i have

Unless you need the extra core count I would keep the 6700k. Overclock it if you need a boost in performance, you have the mobo and cooler for it.
