I was thinking of getting a cheap PDA to use at work and college. I haven't used a PDA ages and know little about them.
Is the operating system custom made by each maker or are they all able to run Window, Linux or Mac OS? Do they use a hard drive to store data? I would like to be able to connect to my home, work and college networks via WIFI is that possable? Can I get programs to read/edit MS Office documents and .pdf files? Do any double as MP3 players?
Is it possable to use a remote desktop progam it, setting the PDA as the viewer so that I could use it as a remote control for any computer in my house?
If someone could suggest some makes/models and thing to look out for or avoid that would give me an idea of what I want to get.
