Right now i have a Intel Pentium D 820, 2.8GHz, EM64T XD Dual Core, 2X1MB, Socket LGA775 with a asus P5VD1-x mobo , 6600gt agp 1024 dual ram, i have on order a pci x 6600gt and bought ddr2 533mhz 1024 ram and a P5ND2 sli. With the sli board would i be able to atleast hit 3.0-3.3ghz with the nvidia chipset? I don't do much gamming , mostly mult tasking for video, downloading and pictures, odd games. Or is a P5LD2 be better. the sli board i paid 117 and the P5Ld2 is like 35$ more.?

i finally went for the amd x2 3800 and dfi NF4-d mobo. Also returned the intel chip (garbage). Thanks for everones help!!
