what if i get a e6420? what difference does it have with the e6600(except price ofcourse)

because if i go e6600 i am 30 euros out of my budget and if i get e6420 i am just fine, i guess you can oc the e6420 well?

yes both oc just fine just that the E6420 has 4mb's l2 just like the E6600. the multi is the only thing different, ie 8x instead of 9x.

ok this is what i have and what i think i will be ordering, is this a good setup?

intel c2d e6420 -167,50 euro
Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3- 110,68 euro
G.E.I.L GX22GB6400DC, 2048 MB, DDR2, PC6400, 800 MHz, 2 x - 108,48 euro
EnerMax Liberty, 500 Watt, Retail - 95.91 euro
Samsung Spinpoint T166, 500 GB, 7200 RPM, 16 MB, SATA II - 112,13 euro
NEC AD-7173S, Serial ATA150, Zwart, OEM - 30.50 euro
Asus 8800gts 640mb - 250 euro
Shipping - 8.95 euro

Total: 884.15 euro

so this is without case, i guess the ram will be good for overclocking the e6420 and the 8800gts will have no bottleneck because of the ram or cpu.
