Has anyone else had any problems with a x1950pro and vista ...During games the screen goes into a white noise effect but not as strong as the one found on CRT tv's, then the game cuts off and a message says Video driver has stopped responding..... any ideas ???

Hello Gibbo.

With unstable overclocks I get atidag errors. Are you overclocked on that card?

Is it with all games, or just one?

What version of CCC are you using? Could be bad drivers.

i had a similar thing happen with the card not responding when i first got it, but i think i just updated vista with acompatability patch and its been fine ever since!!

make sure youve got all the latest vista updates and then try a reinstall if that fails!!

i'm using 7.11 with vista and its fine!

no the graphics card isnet overclocked and it keeps sayin "Your ATI Graphics Accelerator might be running at a above safe temperature"..then it says something about underclocking but it never used to do this it just started not lon ago..the cooling is still stock

What are your temperatures? How about touching the graphics card heatsink and feeling if its hot or not. maybe its full of dust? Is the fan spinning a good speeds?

it runs at about 62° when on load but when a run game its usualy 80° to 95°

could this do damage btw becuase if it does al just turn this one of and use the other one until a solution is found:)

cleaned out the heatsinks but it only knocked about 8 degrees of it it runs from 80 to 90 now but when idel it runs at 59 now
