Xbox 360 vs. PS3

What does gramatically correct English have to do with the topic?
I really don't understand how the PS3 will be able to compete with the XBox360 if it's released after the holiday season. If the PS3 and the XBox360 were to come out at the same time, I would take a PS3, though because I'm not a huge fan of MS.
