will an xspc rasa block bolt to a 2011 socket or are other pieces required"
is the 2011 socket the same as 1366 or 1155 or any other socket?

thanks in advance.

Same sixes as 1366, but no stand off's

I am not familiar with xspc products

I use EK and Aqua blocks, with both of them there is specific hardware for 2011

My understanding is the 2011 socket is the same dimension as the 1366 but the 1366 requires a back plate. I have the RASA WB at home and can look for you tonight if you like.

that would be nice of you, I have a 2011-v3 m.b/cpu on the way but it's not here yet.

My X99 MB came with a backplate installed for a 2011 v3 CPU. I believe they're all like that.

The Rasa comes with mounting for the 1366 and they are dimensionally the same as the 2011 but the plates are slightly different in height. Looks like some manufacturers have made adapters for this. Maybe check and see if XSPC has one.
