I'm lookin to upgrade my Tt TR2 and need help deciding. I have searched here, looked on jonnyguru, asked google, and I get a bunch of suggestions but no definate answer. Most ppl here recommend Corsair units but I'm sure there are some other brands that are good. I have a mild OC on my e7200 and everything else is stock speed. I may get another 4850 in the future for some crossfire action. What do you guys think? I'm looking to keep it below $75
FSP Group Blue Storm Pro 500 500W ATX2.3 / EPS 12V 2.92 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply
CORSAIR CMPSU-550VX 550W ATX12V V2.2 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC
SeaSonic SS-550HT 80plus 550W ATX12V V2.3 / EPS12V V2.91 SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified
SeaSonic M12II 520 Bronze 520W ATX12V V2.3 / EPS 12V V2.91 SLI Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE
SeaSonic S12II 520 Bronze 520W ATX12V V2.3 / EPS 12V V2.91 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply
SILVERSTONE ST50F-ES 500W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Personally of those units I would go for the M12 because its modular. The FSP and the SilverStone I wouldn't consider (they are basically the same) with having a shorter warranty 1 year for the SilverStone and 3 for the FSP. The 550 SeaSonic also has the 3 year warranty which would make it less desirable.

That leaves the Corsair and SeaSonic S12/M12 and with quality being relatively equal I give the edge to the SeaSonic's with them having a little better efficiency and cleaner power.

Honestly all the ones you mentioned would be a decent buy for the money.

That SeaSonic 550W has 72 amps on the 12v rails  That's a ton for a 550W unit. The others have around 40 amps. Get SeaSonic or Corsair and you'll be happy :)
