I have a question regarding the way the return flows through the riser tube, it seems like an unnecessary restriction of flow, I can see it being used to eliminate vortex/air entrainmet issues but doesn't it restrict flow? Can you use the reservoir without the riser, or mod the riser so it doesn't have the spray head on the end? Have people done this and to what effect?
