Any info on the new Viewsonic 2290b?

Hi,

Does anyone know anything more than what is already on the web site (LINK) about the new 2290b LCD with resolution of 3840x2400.

It says that it will use some of the current video cards - how is that possible at this high resolution?

Are we to expect more LCDs from other companies with such high resolutions?

How could you possibly read the text at that resolution - I currently keep my 19" CRT at 1024x768 and text size at "largest", eventhough it could do 1600x1200?
 
Wow, that's wierd......it sounds like it will use BOTH video connections on the vid card (look in the compatibility chart for it)

High res, but small words? Display Properties->Settings Tab->Advanced->General Tab, then the DPI setting drop down box :D
