I have been trying to overclock my system, and have stripped it back to this:
KM3M-V (KM266Pro+8237)
Athlon 1Gig Thunderbird (FSB 100Mhz)
256Mb DDR PC2100 Ram
120Gig HDD/DVDCD RW
I'm no tech head I must admit, but it seems to me I should be able to increase the FSB to 133Mhz no problem as both the ram and the chipset freq are 133Mhz.
But when I set up the jumpers on the board, the Speaker Continually beeps and I get only this on screen:
BIOS Rom checksum error
Detecting floppy drive A media
Drive A error (...something about "now halting"...)
I assume this actually has nothing to do with the floppy as I there is not one installed.
In BIOS I can change the "DRAM clock" from [By SPD] (auto?) or 133Mhz. Or I could possibly manually set "DRAM Timing" instead of [Auto By SPD] - but, yeah, that doesnt seem right to me (not that I would know)
If anyone has any ideas I'd love to know,
Heres some stats I got from CPU-Z I thought could be useful
